Artist Statement
As a Multidisciplinary Visual Artist primarily trained in Ceramics and Sculpture, my works explore the limitless possibilities of materials — their raw aesthetic, mutability and intermixing ability.
My practice explores the post-medium, the medium’s multisensory and multidimensional qualities through diverse processes, and driven by a fascination with cultural anthropology, particularly traditional customs and narratives intertwined with the natural world. These influences shape a body of artworks that seek to blur the boundaries between the mediums, the reality and fantasy, where the imaginary state becomes the moment of consciousness.
